I don't like crow. It don't taste very good. I ate a lot of crow tonight. Enough to last me the whole year, thank you. Old Joe Calzaghe did what I thought was unimaginable. He beat the hell out of an ever game Jeff Lacy. Folks this fight was not even close. Joe jumped on Lacy and had command throughout. He even knocked Lacy down for good measure in the final round but could not finish him off. Props to Lacy for staying propped up at the final bell. The final scores were 119-107 ( twice ) and 119-105. Yes friends, Joe was that dominant

    This was teacher-vs-student. I'm a big Jeff Lacy fan but tonight we learned that Jeff has a lot to learn. I had no idea that Calzaghe was THAT good ! I picked Jeff from the day the bout was signed. I respected Calzaghe's record and I thought that if the Calzaghe of three or four years ago would step in against Jeff, it might be competitive.

    On ESPN the other night, Roy Jones Jr. was in the studio with Brian Kenney. Roy made it clear he could make 168 pounds. You want a " Super Fight " Roy ? I think Joe Calzaghe just won over a lot of US fans. He sure as hell won me over.
